Globus Weedaway
The Globus WeedAway is a trailed, fully automatic machine for selective weed removal on larger fields. The machine uses AI and camera technology to recognize weeds by their shape rather than their color. This makes it possible to distinguish very accurately between crop and weed, even under changing conditions.
While driving, three cameras continuously scan the field. As soon as a weed is recognized, the system automatically activates one of the 24 chisels, which cuts through the weed at the root. The WeedAway distinguishes between different types of weeds, such as dandelion and plantain, and automatically adjusts the cutting depth for an optimal result.
This technology makes it possible to work efficiently on larger areas, with minimal soil disturbance and without relying on chemical control.
